Welcome to the Colorado School of Music Website!
Now in our 17th year of business, we’re proud to offer both in-person and online lessons private music lessons for all ages and levels in piano, guitar, violin, drums, voice and band/orchestra instruments.
Located in the heart of downtown Golden, our current roster is comprised of musicians from all over the Denver Metro area and includes students from Golden, Denver, Arvada, Wheat Ridge, Lakewood, Littleton and Boulder!
Whether you’re a beginner, a seasoned pro or just learning for fun, private music lessons with our experienced instructors will take your playing to the next level!

- Half-hour or hour weekly lessons
- Many skill levels and styles, including classical, blues, rock and jazz
- Instructors experienced with young children and beginners
- Lessons for adults that strive to meet your wants and needs
- Full drum kit lessons and unique instruments such as ukulele, electric bass and percussion
- Audition and performance preparation for instruments and vocal music
- $10.00 introductory lessons (1 per house hold)
- Open Monday through Friday 2pm-8pm by appointment
- Open year-round including summer
Quality music education is our only business. Our instructors are highly qualified musicians with years of professional experience in both music education and performance. We’re proud to say that our current roster of students comes from all over Golden and the west Denver Metro area, including Wheat Ridge, Lakewood, Arvada, Westminster and Evergreen.
